Duddingston Loch lies to the south of Arthur’s Seat, beside picturesque Duddingston Village with its 12th Century Kirk. The Loch is a peaceful wildlife sanctuary. The pictures in this version of the slideshow were taken in early Autumn before the geese arrived. I will add more pictures in the winter.

You will find Craigmillar Castle and Duddingston Loch close to each other to the South of Arthur’s Seat. Both of them are usually quiet and make an interesting visit. I took these pictures on a warm September afternoon.
