Edinburgh has an amazing variety of flowers parks and gardens. Princes Street Gardens, the Botanics, Holyrood Park, The Meadows, Inverleith Park are among the best known but there are many others. At the time of writing this page, the Edinburgh Outdoors webpage lists an astonishing 147 different parks and public gardens across the city. It is estimated that around 49% of the city is ‘green space’.
