Les Alizes takes these windfarm monopiles (each 103 m long and weighing 2300 tonnes) and embeds them in the North Sea – ready for the installation of a wind turbine. The crane can lift 5000 tonnes. You can see how big the ship is by looking at the three 103 metre piles lying crossways. The 52 Frames challenge was to take a ‘rule of thirds’ photo: I also managed to get some nice ‘leading lines’
